Disney's My Son Pinocchio Jr.
Current 6th grader Clark Jordan began his acting career as a cow in his church's musical during his preschool years. His first serious show, though, was later on in Cheaper by the Dozen. There, he got to play the mischievous middle kid, Bill.
Grease has been his favorite show to act in, while his favorite role has been the Turkey in Honk Jr. Looking towards the bright lights of New York, Sister Act is by far his favorite Broadway show; he even saw it on Broadway. Clark dreams of one day playing Charlie Brown on stage.
Theatre has taught him confidence, courage, and character. Clark is no longer afraid to sing in front of people and now excels at public speaking. He can also approach people and talk to them with confidence.
Clark loves theatre because he gets to act out real life and imaginary scenarios and pretend they are real. Playing Shere Kahn in The Jungle Book is a good example of that and has been his favorite AYT experience so far.
Clark's parents are as happy with his AYT experience as Clark is. They have seen him gain mass amounts of poise and confidence while performing. His singing and dancing have become more polished, too. And Clark's improved sense of comedic timing keeps them in stitches.
Judging by AYT's audiences, his parents aren't the only ones entertained. Thank you, Clark, for sharing your talents with the AYT family.
