Tyler owes everything he's learned over the years to theater. He shall carry memories of all the people and stories with him for the rest of his life. The feeling of family he has experienced with AYT is what has kept him close to the theatre all these years. He will be forever grateful to everyone who has sacrificed their time and energy to make this experience possible for him.
His parents are just as grateful. They believe that AYT has been a HUGE blessing in Tyler's life. Being involved in theater has given him not only a place where he feels like he belongs, but has also helped him identify his talents and passions.
Dependability and responsibility are two of the most important lessons theatre has taught Tyler. He has learned how to be responsible in attending rehearsals, how to be on time while picking other actors up, and how to memorize large amounts of dialogue (even Shakespeare!).
AYT has also given Tyler the opportunity to be involved. He has had experiences with AYT that he wouldn't have had in school alone. Couple that with the upstanding role models and close, uplifting friends, Tyler couldn't have asked for a better extra-curricular activity.
Tyler's parents can't say thank you enough to all those who have donated so much time and effort to Tyler and AYT. It has been a life changing experience for him and both he and his parents have enjoyed it beyond words.
AYT has enjoyed having Tyler as a part of their family as well!
